The three-section construction of the Emlid Survey Pole with Smartphone Mount delivers reliable stability with the help of solid flip locks. The Survey Pole comes equipped with a smartphone mount, that fits most control devices, and a carrying bag.
To guarantee the safe operation of the survey pole, follow the precautions below:
- Do not exceed the survey pole’s 10 kg maximum payload capacity.
- Do not bend or stress the survey pole while extended, a bent survey pole will reduce the accuracy of the measurements.
- Do not expose the survey pole to direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Keep the survey pole away from power supply sources and do not use during a thunderstorm, as it may conduct electricity.
- Use caution when handling the tip of the survey pole.
- Watch your fingers when closing the flip locks and handling the control device holder.
- After surveying in the rain, dry the flip locks with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth.
- After surveying in dusty or sandy environments, clean the flip locks with compressed air.
